| "Bome" means "ancestor" in Tibetan, and it is located in the east of the Tibet Autonomous Region and to the east of the Brahmaputra River. In March, the most region of Tibet are still freezed, but here is Pome, it is warm, and the peach flower bloom all over the valley. This trip is similar like the other tour of "Drive to Lhasa from Lijiang" , it is with one more day to explore the charming valley, which is full of Peach trees in Spring. |

| Day1: Arrive in Chengdu |
|
After arrival in Chengdu airport, pickup and transfer to your hotel, assist to check in. Relax in the rest hours of this day by having one visit to the traditional Chinese teahouse at People's park.

| Day2: Chengdu to Kangding |
|
Drive 360km on paved road, into hill country and crossing through the Mt. Erlang tunnel, En-route we will stop by to visit Luding Iron Bridge. Then arrive at the gateway town of the Eastern Tibet of Kham - Kangding, which is cradled in a narrow gorge along the raging Dzetuo River. The river's continual rumble can be heard in its alleyways where nomads from the west come to sell Tibetan herbal medicine, Khampa knives, traditional Tibetan garments, and the ever-popular yak butter tea. For centuries the town has held the status of "Gateway to Tibet", after arrive in Kangding take an easy walk in order to acclimatizing to the altitude, visit to Anjue monastery.

| Day3: Kangding to Litang |
|
Drive 285km on paved road; enjoy the beautiful nature view and touring the white Ming yak Chorten, and when drive onto Mt. Gaoershi, if weather permits, the stunning view of the peak of Mt. Minyar Gangkar will be visible. After we arrive in Litang, we are going to visit the Litang monastery, which is just on the northern edge of town and belongs to the Gelukpa sect of Tibetan Buddhists. The monastery was founded in 1580 by the third Dalai Lama Sonam Gyatso on the site. There are three main temples in the compound, of which the oldest seems to be the one on top of the hill, still featuring the wooden construction of the upper rim of the buildings. Inside, you can view several chambers and a bedroom in which the 7th Dalai Lama is said to have resided. Many more famous and influential personal figures were born here, including the 7th Dalai Lama, 10th Dalai Lama.

| Day4: Litang to Batang |
|
The road departures from Litang, about 90km after, it reaches the first pass of Haizi mountain, descending from the new finished road, the cured road leads into virgin forest, the altitude is getting lower and lower from the 4100m high town of Litang. Batang lies 30km around northeast of the confluence of the Batang-Chu with the Yangtze river. It is an important town because it links Tibet and mainland of China together.

In the morning, we will drive to visit the renovated Batang Chode, which now has 400 monks. Murals here depict the motif known as "Mongolian leading a tiger". After visit to this chode, heading to the Druparong bridge entering Tibet, for about 60 kilometrs to reach Markham, where is the intersection connecting Dechen, Markham and Tibet.

| Day6: Gelmud to Dunhuang |

Departure from Gelmud, heading north around 30km, Chaerhan Salt lake, the largest saltwater lake that is one we will go to visit today, "Charhan Salt Lake" it is to the northeast of Golmud proper boasts an area of 5,856 sq km, making it the biggest inland salt lake on this planet even. The lake is also China's largest production base for potassium, magnesium and salt. After this lake the road turns out to be straight ahead without any bend, the road goes directly to the edge of Tibetan plateau, about more than 60km descending from Tibetan plateau, the road leads towards to the Kumtag Desert, the first town after leaving Tibetan plateau is Aksai, where we continuely head northeast to Dunhuanng, enroute stop by to visit Yumenguan pass, which originally known as Small Square City. Yangguan Pass is one of the two important passes on the western frontier of the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220). It is located 80km northwest to Dunhuang, at the western end of Hexi Corridor. In ancient times, it was the crucial gateway from central China to the western regions.

| Day6: Markham to Paksho |
|
Departure in the morning, appreciate the nature view of southern part of the central Tibet. Onto the first pass of Lawu pass, then descending to the bottom of the valley to reach Mekong River, along this river, via Jueba Mountain to the highest spot of this trip - Dongda pass. After reaching at Dzogang. The road jumbs from mountains to the endless pasture to Bangda, via Dora Mountain to reach Paksho. The altitude difference is 2500m from the highest to the lowest spot on this day.

| Day7&Day8: Paksho to Pome |
|
From Paksho, the nature is extraordinarily beautiful, along the road, the snow captured mountain, virgin forest, and farmland mixed together. Reach at Rawok Tso lake, which is about 22 sq km, with altitude of 3850m, this is one of the most beautiful part of the road on this trip.

After Pome, the road goes into the virgin forest leading to the last nature barrier of Tongmai, where it happens landslide, when it rains, windy, snow?when approaching Lunang County, the mountain of Segrila is kind of coverd by different kind of flowers, by standing on this mountain, Namchak Barwa mountain (7787m) is visile, and to its right, the 14 peaks are all above 8000m, descending from Segrila mountain to reach at Nyingtri.

Departure from Nyingtri, enjoy the view along Nyang-chu River after Meldro Gungkar drive to visit Ganden monastery, which is located on Wangbur Mountain, on the southern bank of Brahmaputr River. Ganden Monastery is one of the earliest and largest Buddhist monasteries in Tibet, and stands atop of the six famous temples of Gelukpa tradition. The temple is comprised of over 50 structures. The main halls in the temple are the Main Assembly Hall (or Coqen Hall), Zhacangs, Khangtsens, and Myicuns. After visit to this holy site of Tibetan religion, we will drive to Lhasa - the capital of the cental Tibet.

Today we are going to visit to Potala Palace, Jokhang temple and Barkhor Bazar. Potala, the winter palace of the Dalai Lama. Stunningly dominating the skyline of Lhassa atop the crest of Marpo Ri hill, the seventh-century Potala is considered Lhasa's most holy destination for a pilgrimage. Winding up the hill, a stone path leads to the 14-story, 1000-room. Each day, thousands of pilgrims give the prayer wheels lining the path a clockwise spin as they make their way up to the entrance.
The Jokhang Monastery is the home of the statutes of the revered Buddha, Shakyamuni. While all Buddhist statutes are magnificently robed in colorful brocade adorned with pearls, turquoise, coral, and silver, solid gold bowls of holy water rest before Shakyamuni as well as offerings of yuen (money) and khatas (scarves) left by pilgrims.

Today we are going to visit Sera, Drepung, Nechung monasteries.
"Sera" in Tibetan means Wild Rose Garden since opulent wild rose woods once grew around it, Sera monastery is one of the three largest monasteries of Gelugpa, sits at the foot of Hill Tatipu. It is as prestigious as Drepung and Ganden, which had a longer history.
Drepung monastery used to house 10,000 monks, After entering a dark columned hall to see and hear the lilting, booming chanting of the sutras, or perhaps sit under a willow tree and watch as the monks engage in theatrical debate.
Nechung Monastery the seat of Nechung, Tibet's State Oracle. Major decisions of the state are made in consultation with the Nechung Oracle.

By morning flight from Lhasa to Chengdu, after arrive in Chengdu, transfer to Chengdu Giant Panda Research Base, one of the most important centers in the world for the conservation of the Giant Panda.
